How to beat: Barghest
Barghests move in packs much like dogs and wolves, but they also charge at high speed to blind Geralt and sometimes answer your attacks by spitting fire that can set you ablaze. They use these special attacks more often in a group, so try to pick them off one at a time. They glow briefly before charging, which tells you when to dodge. Keep Quen up against the flames, coat your silver sword with Specter oil, and use Yrden to slow them, with Axii and Moon Dust as further options. They cannot be set on fire, so Igni burning is wasted on them.
About
Barghests are phantom hounds that prowl the roads of Toussaint at night. Superstitious folk see them as divine punishment for sin, while witchers link them to a curse or a buildup of ill will tied to some past tragedy. Like wolves they hunt in packs and attack sinners and saints alike.
