If Daphne's soul is released by force, it possesses the first living creature it meets, a dog, so the fight is against the possessed hound. Coat your silver sword with Specter oil, since the wraith is vulnerable to it.
About
Daphne's Wraith is the spirit of a woman in Toussaint who was turned into a tree, which bled when cut and sobbed in the wind. The love of her life, a knight errant, had gone to see a witch and never returned, leaving her waiting for him forever. Her case can be resolved peacefully, but if Geralt forces the witch to free her, the shock drives Daphne's tormented soul mad and it becomes a dangerous wraith.
