How to beat: Banshee
Banshees fight like other specters, but you do not need Yrden to force them into physical form, and they do not vanish to summon other wraiths. Their signature move is a scream that stuns and disorients Geralt, leaving him open to melee attacks, so keep out of its range. They can also summon skeletons to hem you in, and the banshee will not heal while these are active, so clear them with sweeping attacks that also catch the banshee. The safest approach is to sidestep her claw attacks and answer with quick strikes using a silver sword coated in Specter oil, keeping Quen up whenever you can.
About
A banshee, or beann'shie, is a female spirit from Toussaint whose wailing is taken as an omen of imminent death. She usually appears as a pale, thin, tear-streaked woman with a shriveled face and corpse-like body. Gossip holds that banshees are the souls of women trapped between life and death by traumatic experiences.
