How to beat: Noonwraith
Noonwraiths resemble nightwraiths but favor sunlight and are better at physical attacks, including blinding you with clouds of dust. Most Signs barely affect them, but Yrden or a Moon Dust bomb forces them into a corporeal, vulnerable form, after which you should attack quickly with a silver sword coated in specter oil. When threatened they create copies that drain your life force; destroy them with bombs or crossbow bolts, or with a Dimeritium bomb cloud, in which they dissolve immediately.
About
Noonwraiths are specters that appear in fields when the sun is at its highest, looking like sun-scorched women in long white robes. They are spirits of young women who died violently just before their weddings, often bound to this world by an object such as a ring or a veil. They create mirror images that circle their victims in a deadly dance, draining their life, and can blind people by kicking up dust.
