How to beat: Spotted wight
Witcher lore says the surest way to beat a spotted wight is careful use of Yrden. Igni is also among its weaknesses, and your silver sword should be coated with Necrophage oil. In cold weather spotted wights fall into a lethargy that makes them easy targets.
About
Spotted wights were a larger, blotched subspecies of wight that witchers supposedly drove to extinction. They lived in derelict cemeteries, wilderness and abandoned houses, brewing concoctions from their own secretions, and were aggressive only when threatened. The spotted wight on the Trastamara estate in Toussaint turns out to be a cursed woman, punished for refusing food and shelter to a beggar.
