How to beat: Ulfhedinn
Ulfhedinn are among the fastest and deadliest cursed creatures, leaping long distances at great speed. Counterattacks are hard to time, so rely on dodges, rolls and Yrden, and avoid fighting in cramped spaces. Use Igni whenever you can: burning holds them still long enough for critical hits, and fire, bleeding and poison slow their regeneration. Watch for the double overhead claw swipe, which cannot be parried and causes bleeding. Near death an ulfhedinn strikes even harder and may call wolves to help, so coat your silver sword with Cursed oil and keep Moon Dust and Devil's Puffball ready.
About
Ulfhedinn are a breed of werewolf found mainly in Skellige, stronger than their mainland kin and hunting mostly people. They appear only at night, and older, particularly dangerous specimens are called vorefs. The few warriors in Skellige history who managed to kill one are still celebrated in ballads.
