How to beat: Alp
Alps are very fast and would rather dodge than block, so chasing one around is a waste of time and stamina. Coat your silver sword with Vampire oil and consider drinking Black Blood, since alps feed on their victims' blood. Cast Yrden and fight from inside it, blocking when the alp comes at you rather than running after it. Watch for it leaping out of sight, because it will either drop down on you or prepare its stunning shriek, which you should avoid at all costs. As with bruxae, knocking an alp down with Aard can let you finish it with a single quick strike, and Moon Dust is another useful tool.
About
Alps are vampires from Toussaint that closely resemble bruxae and usually take the shape of a woman, though they can also appear as animals. They hunt at night near villages, are most active under a full moon, and their saliva can put people to sleep and fill their dreams with nightmares. Unlike bruxae they cannot turn invisible, but they are extraordinarily agile and blend easily into human communities.
Loot
Possible drops – not every kill yields all of them.
