How to beat: Spriggan
Like leshens, spriggans are vulnerable to Igni, but they are much faster, so stay mobile. Their tough hide deflects sword blows, their attacks cannot be parried, and you should watch for roots they use to entangle you. If you are taking heavy damage, switch to Quen and rely on Relict oil on your blade. Dimeritium bombs work too, but they also block your own signs, so use them with care.
About
The spriggan is a subspecies of leshen found in remote, rarely visited woodlands of Toussaint. It does not usually attack people unless provoked, but it is very strong, has an enormous appetite and is bound to the plants of its domain, punishing anyone who damages them.
