How to beat: Melusine

Bring good crossbow bolts, since Melusine spends much of the fight in the air. Coat your silver sword with Hybrid oil and use Grapeshot, Aard and Igni, all of which she is vulnerable to. The Hornwall horn can affect her too, but she often flies high enough to recover or stay out of its range.

About

Melusine is an old and powerful ekhidna that made its lair in a vast cave complex in the mountains near the village of Svorlag in Skellige. For centuries people avoided the caves, and some islanders even worshiped the beast as a semi-divine being, as a large winged statue deep in the caves suggests.
