Coat your silver sword with Hybrid oil before the fight. Ekhidnae are vulnerable to Grapeshot, Igni and Aard, so use bombs and Signs to soften them up and create openings for your sword.
About
The ekhidna is a hybrid monster that lives near bodies of water and along shorelines. It is one of the creatures that make exploring the coast risky for an unprepared traveler.
