How to beat: Succubus

A succubus can sometimes be talked into leaving instead of being killed, but if you fight her, act fast, because she is surprisingly strong. She also commands fire, and her flame bursts can interrupt any sword combo; Quen or quick rolls are the only defense. Do not let her control the fight: exploding bolts or Aard disrupt her spellcasting and Northern Wind freezes her in place, giving you time for a flurry of blows. Coat your silver sword with Hybrid oil and remember that Axii does not work on her.

About

A succubus looks like a highly attractive woman with goat-like legs and horns, and unlike most monsters it does not crave blood or wish to kill, driven instead by insatiable lust. Succubi live near human settlements and prowl at night, and their endless advances drain their partners, which has driven more than one man to madness or death. In The Witcher 3 one is found on Ard Skellig.
